Jamaat-e-Islami and Alert Fashion stand by cold-stricken people in Companiganj

Winter clothes have been distributed among the poor and helpless people suffering from cold in Charkankara Union of Companiganj Upazila of Noakhali.
This program was organized on Thursday (January 29) by Jamaat-e-Islami and Alert Fashion Limited.
At that time, a total of 1,650 pieces of winter clothes were distributed among the poor, helpless, orphans, elderly and disabled children. The winter clothes included blankets, sheets, sweaters, jackets and various types of warm clothes.
The organizers informed that such humanitarian programs are conducted every year with the aim of standing by the marginalized community during the winter season. Through this, it is possible to alleviate the suffering of the cold-stricken people to some extent due to the severity of the winter.
The winter clothes distribution ceremony was attended by Charkankara Union Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Master Belayet Hossain, Assistant Secretary Mizanur Rahman, Nayebe Amir Abdullah Al Mamun, Ward No. 1 President Gazi Sourav, Agriculture Department President Abdul Aziz Kawsar, Ward No. 5 Omar Faruk, Vice Principal Ahmed Karim, Ward No. 9 President Obadul Haque Sohel and local leaders.
The speakers at the ceremony said that the winter season brings extreme hardship to the lives of the poor and helpless. Standing by their side at this time is true humanity. Selflessly coming forward to help the cold-stricken people is a great act of worship.
